NeXXus Series – Affordable and Upgradeable Speaker Stands
Atacama introduces the award-winning NeXXus 500 Essential speaker stands in satin black – Atacama’s first modular, upgradeable, and expandable speaker mounting system.
The NeXXus 500 Essential is the first speaker stand in the new NeXXus series and brings value and adaptability to the design of speaker stands.
Each stand is supplied in pairs and comes standard with two 50.8 mm (2″) wide support tubes and a new 5 mm thick laser-cut “shield” base plate and a 130 mm x 170 mm top plate.
If this top plate size is not compatible with your speakers, a selection of alternative-sized top plate packs can be purchased separately. Please inquire specifically about these options and contact us.
With double the mass load capacity of the discontinued Nexus stand (predecessor), the NeXXus 500 Essential can support speakers weighing up to 15 kg each, a significant improvement over the previous generation (8.4 kg load capacity). The larger base plate allows for the secure and stable mounting of even heavier speakers.
The spike interface has also been updated on the NeXXus to feature 8 mm BZP spikes.
Atacama NeXXus speaker stands are manufactured in the UK.
Note: Speakers are not included.

Additional Information
Atacama recommends Atabite inert filler material for maximum acoustic performance.
For those who want to further enhance the performance of their speakers, the NeXXus stands can have the column sections filled with sound-damping material (Atabite’s SMD-Z 7HD).
The maximum Atabite capacity is 16.8 kg per pair (2 x 7 kg buckets are sufficient for most applications).
The optional Atacama mass base plate package can also be used to add weight and stability if needed.
