At the heart of every Evoque rack lies a commitment to mechanical integrity. Proven principles of materials science are employed to protect your equipment from micro-vibrations:
Shelves made of high-density, carbonized bamboo: The bamboo material characteristic of Atacama offers superior vibration damping and resonance control compared to conventional hardwoods and veneers, optimized through precise material thicknesses and layered construction.
A.S.I.S.T. damping elements: “Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology” utilizes two damping elements per stand leg to suppress “ringing” and decouple the aluminum legs from the outer collars.
Resonance-dissipating caps: Precision-machined top and bottom aluminum caps act as energy conductors. They create a clear path for unwanted mechanical energy to be safely dissipated away from the equipment and channeled into the ground.
The SE2 Advantage: Performance at a New Level
The SE2 designation stands for a series of state-of-the-art acoustic enhancements designed to extract the absolute highest level of fidelity from your components:
Mechanically tuned leg lengths: The support legs are extended by 15 mm compared to the standard models, thereby lowering the resonance frequency of each module—for a more natural, uncolored sound.
Tunable counterweights for the support legs: Fully adjustable, nickel-plated bronze counterweights (frustoconical in shape) mounted on the legs’ internal threaded rods allow for the precise suppression of component-specific resonances.
A.V.R.D.C. Advanced A.V.R.D.C. Channels (Vectored Resonance Deflection Channels): A precision-milled, three-dimensional curvature on the underside of each shelf neutralizes high-frequency harmonic energy and converts vertical vibrations into horizontal energy, which is directed to the grounding elements of the support legs.
High-quality conical bronze spikes: Longer, redesigned spikes maximize energy transfer between the modules while ensuring effective mechanical grounding.
Bamboo boards with contoured side edges: The specially shaped side edges actively disrupt standing waves and channel resonances directly into the A.V.R.D.C. channels to eliminate sonic artifacts and constructive interference.

Configure your system exactly to your liking. The modular design allows you to stack the units precisely according to your specifications – up to a maximum total height of 1,255 mm (50 inches).
High load-bearing capacity
Per module: Supports up to 50 kg per shelf (the total load capacity of the rack must not exceed 150 kg).
Flexibility of the base module: It can accommodate additional loads transferred from the modules above, providing a secure placement even for heavy power amplifiers.
Note regarding natural bamboo surfaces
Bamboo is a living material with unique grain, coloring, and natural variations. Due to studio lighting and variations in screen displays, images of the surfaces are for illustrative purposes only; they should not be used as an exact color reference for other pieces of furniture.
Natural finish: Usually appears warm and soft under residential lighting (similar to a “buttery-smooth” shade).
Dark finish: Typically displays a rich, deep chocolate tone.
Variations between different production batches are a natural characteristic of real wood.
