NeXXus Series – Affordable and Upgradeable Speaker Stands
Atacama introduces the award-winning NeXXus 600 Essential speaker stands in white – Atacama’s first modular, upgradeable, and expandable speaker mounting system.
The NeXXus 600 Essential is the first speaker stand in the new NeXXus series and brings value and adaptability to speaker stand design.
Each stand is supplied in pairs and comes standard with two 50.8 mm (2″) wide support tubes and a new 5 mm thick laser-cut “shield” base plate and a 130 mm x 170 mm top plate.
If this top plate size does not fit the supported speakers, a selection of alternatively sized top plate packages can be purchased separately if required. Please inquire specifically about this and contact us.
With twice the mass capacity of the discontinued Nexus stand (predecessor), the NeXXus 600 Essential can support speakers weighing up to 15 kg each, a significant improvement over the previous generation (8.4 kg capacity). The larger base plate allows for even heavier speakers to be safely and securely supported.
The spike interface has also been updated on NeXXus with 8 mm BZP spikes.
The Atacama NeXXus series speaker stands are manufactured in the UK.
Additional Information
Atacama recommends Atabites as a filler material to achieve maximum acoustic performance.
For those who want to further improve the performance of their speakers, the NeXXus stands are able to have the column sections filled with sound dampening material (Atabites SMD-Z 7HD).
The maximum Atabite capacity is 16.8 kg per pair (2x 7 kg buckets are sufficient for most applications).
The optional Atacama mass floor plate package can also be used to add weight and stability when needed.
