Atacama ERIS2 ECO 5.0 – Hi-Fi Rack – 200mm Level – Dark Bamboo – Discontinued Model

Developed from the ERIS ECO 5.0, which was presented at the “WHAT HIFI? Awarded “BEST EQUIPMENT SUPPORT” WINNER 2012 and 2013 by “SOUND AND VISION” magazine, the advanced specification Eris2 Eco 5.0 has been updated with increased rigidity, improved stability, larger and more adjustable leg height options, and an increased weight capacity.
The Eris2 Eco 5.0 HiFi rack is made of high-density carbonized bamboo resin composite for the shelves and uses powder-coated steel leg tubes and laser-cut frame components in its construction.
During assembly, the Eris2 Eco 5.0 modules are isolated from each other via three fully adjustable 8 mm carbon steel spikes integrated into an interface between the nylon cone cup and the brass insert.
Four leg height options are available so that Eris2 Eco 5.0 can always adapt to the changing needs of your Hi-Fi storage requirements. When building your rack, we recommend using a base module as the lowest storage level, as this ensures the best possible stability.
All Eris2 Eco 5.0 levels are manufactured and hand-finished in the UK by Atacama. Due to the exclusive processing of bamboo wood, production takes a few days longer than for ordinary audio furniture. Although we have enough products in stock, unfortunately there may still be delays in delivery – please bear this in mind when ordering this particular product.

Bamboo is a natural material, so color, texture, grain, and age will vary depending on the shelf. Aesthetically, each Eris2 Eco 5.0 bamboo panel is unique, which is part of the beauty of the wood.
If you order multiple panels, we will try to combine them into a set with a similar color and grain pattern. However, there are deviations. If you want to add an additional module later, there will be a tonal difference between batch, color and grain. For this reason, if possible, you should order Eris2 Eco 5.0 as a complete modular support with enough levels to meet possible future requirements and minimize these deviations. Over time, the bamboo may darken somewhat. This is normal and part of the material maturation process.
Eris2 Eco 5.0 modules are interchangeable with previous versions of ERIS ECO 5.0. However, the internal gaps in storage height are different from those stated because the leg interfaces are in a different position. When you install a new Eris2 Eco 5.0 shelf into a standard ERIS ECO 5.0 rack from a previous model, you get 30 mm more than the internal storage height of the Eris2 Eco 5.0 shelf. However, with an ERIS ECO 5.0 shelf from a previous model, you will lose 35 mm of internal height if the shelf is placed on an Eris2 Eco 5.0 module. When an Eris2 Eco 5.0 base module is used as a shelf module, the internal storage distance is 25 mm.
