NeXXus series – affordable and upgradeable speaker stands
\nAtacama introduces the award-winning NeXXus 600 Essential speaker stands in white – the first modular, upgradeable and expandable speaker support system from Atacama.
\nThe NeXXus 600 Essential is the first speaker stand in the new NeXXus series and brings value and adaptability to speaker stand design.
\nEach stand is supplied in pairs and comes standard with two 50.8 mm (2″) wide support tubes and a new 5 mm thick laser-cut “shield” base plate and a 130 mm x 170 mm top plate.
\nIf this size of cover plate does not fit the supported speakers, a selection of cover plate packages in an alternative size can be purchased separately if required. Please ask specifically for this and contact us.
\nWith double the mass load capacity compared to the discontinued Nexus stand (predecessor), the NeXXus 600 Essential can support speakers weighing up to 15 kg each, which is a significant improvement on the previous generation (8.4 kg load capacity). The larger base plate means that even more powerful speakers can be mounted securely and firmly.
\nThe spike interface has also been updated at NeXXus with 8 mm BZP spikes.
\nThe speaker stands in the Atacama NeXXus series are manufactured in Great Britain.

\nAtacama recommends Atabites as a filling material to achieve maximum acoustic performance.
\nFor those who want to further improve the performance of their speakers, the NeXXus stands are able to have the column parts filled with sound damping material (Atabites SMD-Z 7HD).
\nThe maximum Atabite capacity is 16.8 kg per pair (2x 7 kg buckets are sufficient for most applications).
\nThe optional Atacama mass floor plate package can also be used to add weight and stability when needed.<\/p>\n
